I have a 2002 gmc yukon xl with onstar. i want to install an aftermarket amplifier and speaker to my current factory radio. i have the schoshe converter for my rca input. i have a speaker wire diagram, but i got information from another post that i shouldn't connect this to the wires going to the factory amplifier. I know you usually hook it up to the speaker wires behind the radio, but i have no diagram for those. Can anyone help me with where to connect these wires?

Are you wanting to add a 4 channel amp and replace the speakers ?

No. Just the 8 inch sub in the back. I'm replacing it with a 15" sub with just a 400 watt amp.
