Hi, I have a Lanzar amp, 200RMS x 2 @ 4ohms, I know its not the best brand but it's just a temporary, and a Soundstream sub, 350rms @ 4ohms, SVC. A week ago I was playin a bass testing song and had it up probably the loudest it's been. After about 3 minutes of that the sub all of a sudden went quieter and now sounds hollow. Now no if I turn it up to the same level it just sounds even hollower. I didn't hear any distortion and read when u blow the voice coil it smells like burning or something. I posted on another forum and got told I could have damaged the sealant inside the box, so I resealed it but it hasn't really made a difference. Anyone know what might be the matter with my sub or amp for that matter. I have tried the sub on the other channel that I wasn't using when it happened and it still sounded the same, so this suggests to me that its the sub but what, if anything can I do to repair it. Any information would be appreciated.

Hollow quieter sound = distortion.
You damaged your subwoofer. Badly. It probably isn't worth repairing or thinking about.
Take sub to dumpster. Buy new sub. Know your equipment's limits next time.

Yeah if that amp was bridged it exceeds the power handling of that sub probably. Make sure your gain is set proper next time.
