Hi everyone,

I purchased an 88 chevy g-10 cargo van.  The prior owner had a fancy system install- but removed it before selling.  So to get me by I purchased a cheap little deck.  The problem is i have no idea how to install it.  Since the other owner had this crazy install, nothing seems to make sense in there.    I gather that i need to have three wires:Ground, Batt, Ignition.   I think i found the Ground (it's mounted to the actual frame).  but can anyone give me a hint as to what to look for in the other wires?  The deck says that they're suppose to be red and Yellow, but seeing as this van was modified- these colour conventions don't seem to make sense anymore.

I've never done this before, but if i can find those two other wires this shouldn't be a big deal at all.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Well even though youve never done it before it sounds like you know what you are going to have to do... Since it was "fancy system" I have no clue if it was insane custom, in which case maybe he made the wiring harness himself, where you would probably need to pull some wires for the power.
You wouldnt happen to live in connecticut and the van is black with a big block in it? because if so, I want in for a drive in that thing.
