Ive got a 2000 explorer xlt 4 door, and the back speakers arent working. I spliced a speaker into the wires at the back of the head unit and I get audio. I can't figure out why both speakers would not work. I tried replacing the speakers to no avail. The only thing I can think that might be the problem is I removed the rear radio/AC controls to install an aftermarket center console, but the rear controls controlled both front and back speakers at the same time, so I dont know why if that was the problem that the front speakers wouldnt not work also. any help?

Plug the rear control module back in and see what happens, chances are that you have broken the circuit at that point.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
