I have an 01 Chevy Malibu, I can't find the acc wire coming from the factory deck, so I connected the remote wire to the always hot (orange), is this bad for my amp to always be on?
My wiring diagram says yellow is acc, but yellow is a speaker wire (right, rear -) I tried connecting the remote wire to almsot every wire coming from deck, only orange worked, any ideas?

Yes this is bad as it will drain the battery much like leaving your headlights on overnight. The ACC wire is not in the vehicle radio harness, it is found in the main ignition harness coming from the ignition cylinder. That is where you will make the connection for a ACC or IGN wire to power up the amp.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I found the cluster of wires, do you know which color it is? I think it's the purple wire, but I'm not that good at reading wiring diagrams and I don't want to short out something important.

You really should buy a multimeter so you can test these wires.  Check the thick brown wire at the ignition harness.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
