arc audio foose edition?

well i was going to get 2 arc audio KAR amps but they are back ordered. so the shop i was buying my stuff from was going to give me 2 foose amps instead. so im going from the KAR 400.4 to the FD4100 and from the KAR 1000.v1 to a FD1200.1. so the watts are the same on the 4 channel amps. but the new sub amp is now 100 watts more than the last one. so im getting this new upgrade for $158 more. what do you guys think? is it worth it? the guy said that the FD1200.1 usually goes for $700 and i am getting it for $499. are the foose edition amps that much better then the KAR series? any help would be great. thanks

I just bought two ARC Audio FD-1200.1’s … and I like them… they are good amps + they are strippable… some quick spec’s and features Class – H technology (has the efficiency of class d but with the low THD of class A/b), Damping factor >2100,   1,010 watts 0.02 THD @ 2 ohms, 1,100 watts 0.02 THD @ 1 ohm loads. Regulated Power Supplies, Clipping indicator LED, Strappable (meaning with 2 u can bridge them without special proprietary cables 2 buy) Butterworth X over is variable 30 – 250 hz. Bass boost is variable 30 to 80 hz + 18db. Variable sub sonic filter 10 – 80 hz. Phase switch 0 – 180 deg. Impedance selector switch 2 or 1 ohm.
