I only do an install per month, so I'm not looking to spend too much. I've seen the 1/0 gauge crimpers go for $50-$200.
I checked Harbor Freight and ebay with no luck. I'm open to the crimpers where you hammer it also.
Any ideas where to get them?
*Edit:
Stevdart- I saw in an old thread you mentioned that you had modified the jaws of some bolt cutters. Could you post a pic of the jaws please? I can get a pair of bolt cutters from harbor Freight for $5.

A good tool will stay with you for life. Go and find a set of Klein crimpers at a electrical wholesale company or you also might be able to find it at a building big box store. The other thing to do here is to buy a small butane tortch and solder the terminals on. I always crimp and then solder my terminals in the engine bay.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
