It almost cost me my entire elec system.Thank God for hind site and I put a 10 amp fuse instead of the 30 amp "just in case" whew! Anyways I found 2 site that are very infomative .they are as follows.....http://www.bcac1.com and http://www.electronixwarehouse.com/education/main.htm .So I managed to hook up my deck,6xs audio controler,10 cd stacker,3 alpine amps,2 tweeters,2 mids,2woofers,2 subs, capacitor, extra batt, biult the box,for grand total of 4500 ass kick'n watts ,4" drop is next, then a divource!!

Well that was interesting, Dan.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I think he was having a conversation with himself, Dan, is there a guy on your shoulder talking to you?

What he was talking about is simultaneous stereo / mono operation or 3way operation. Many 2 channel amplifiers are capable of running like this. It is most common to use a sub and a pair of speakers in this configuration. The sub goes to the bridged channels and the speakers to the stereo channels. A built in active crossover in the head unit or the amplifier cannot be used. Instead,  you would use a 200-400 uf cap on the main speakers + leads and a 6mh coil on the subs + lead. A note here is that you cannot go below 4 ohms impedence on the sub unless the amp is capable of running to 1 ohm stereo, thus also would then be capable of 2 ohm mono.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
