BBE...sonic maximizers -- posted image.Are they worth having,what do they really do,are a sort of filters ?,don't hear much about them anymore,what will the benefits be ?if any...

They enhance the lower bass & upper frequencies to give you a fuller sound. This is my opinion is a false sounding reproduction of the intended SQ  from the artists. I rather not have any of these features turned on in any of my systems.

bbe's are made for PA type usage. I use one in my guitar rack to process my sounds. the maximizer just makes intruments sound more full and bright. That's about all they are good for. I wouldnt use one to process sound in a car. It would probably sound like crap. i've never heard of one being used in car audio applications though.

BBE...sonic maximizers -- posted image.Thank you,i know Alpine for example had (maybe still do....) an EQ with BBE build in,also BBE had a 1/2 DIN for use in car aplications,there was one on ebay for like $ 100 and i thought it was kinda cheap (brand new unit,so the person claimed....) but when in stores the thing went for like $ 150 us !
