Hey there.  Well, I'm getting ready to wire my 2 subwoofers exactly like the picture shown below @ 2 ohms. But what I dont understand is how I am supposed to splice into the wire?  As you can see, the teal wire runs to both the 1st and the 2nd subwoofers, but how do I make a good clean connection out to both?Subwoofer Wire Splicing? -- posted image.

if u have them in seperate chambers and then seperate terminals, then you can just run both sets of wires to your amp, your amp will see the subs as being wired just as you have pictured.

The wires are not spliced.  When an electrical diagram show two wires branching off one another it simply means they are connected to the same point.

Solder a wire from the positive lead on sub A to the positive lead on sub B. Do the same with the negative lead. Then solder a wire from the positive and negative terminals. This way, you only have 1 wire running from each polarity

Awesome guys, I got it under control.  Except for one thing.  How much better is it going to be having 8 gauge wire compared to 14 gauge wire?  Ive been told that 8 is much better, but thena gain, ive also been told that it doesnt matter.  The thing is that ive got 14 avilable right now, and it will take a bit of time to get some 8.  thanks!

What are you using the wire for ? If it is for speakers 14 gauge is fine. If  it's for power use don't use nothing less then 8gauge.

Yes, it is the wire going from the subwoofers back to the amp.  So 14awg will be fine?  If so, i'm gonna get these babies wired tonight!

Here's another way to see the same wiring diagram.  Probably more like they would look in real life:

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
