i have a 96 impala ss and i need a high output alternator that will put out 200-250 amps. i bought one that was supposed to be 200 all it put out was 180 only at high rpm at idle it put out 35 amps. i need something that will charge really good at idle my system all together is 230 all the fuses added together.
