i just bought a panasonic HU and me and my friend went to install it.  When we pulled out the stock radio his pet monkey cut the wires to the radio.  I went and bought the wiring harness for the car and it came with one black and one grey harness.  I read you can bypass the factory amp by plugging the harnessess into the 2 that are behind and to the right of the radio.  So snapped those 2 in and got nothing to the head unit.  Ive tried so many combinations of things and still nothing.  Checked all fuses and none are blown.  Its not the mach 460 either.... anyone know what else i can try??

Thats why it is best to not let your friends pet monkey install your radio.....
When I did one of these cars I had a similar problem and had to track each wire down hard wire the whole thing, came to find out I had the wrong harness.....this might be your case as well.
also check the wiring database on here and check the wires you are trying to plug up to, if they match they should be the same.
Or have your friends pet monkey soldier all the wires of the harness that was sut off back on and use the existing plugs

i think the wiring info for the 94 mustang might be wrong.  There is a black wire and then there is a wire that is black with a green stripe.  The wire that is BLACK/ green is the ground wire cause i followed it and saw it grounded... but i has the plain black wire listed as the ground wire.
