Ignoring the price, should I get a Rockford Forsgate 1800watt amp or a Pioneer Premier Ice 1200w amp? I heard that the Rockford Forsgate overheats and blows easily. The Rockford Forsgate sounds better so I would prefer that one.

Thanx

Have you considered other brands?? There's a lot of other options avaliable.
List the models of those amps...I've noticed that the max ratings on the newer Fosgate amps have gone up. Like the same amp last year was a 600 watt amp (300 rms) and this new line is like a 1200 watt amp (still 300 rms)...Just a comparison...just goin from what i've seen at best buy lol

Neither... both of them are far outclassed by other products in similar price ranges...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Give me specific model numbers you are considering, then I can make a better educated guess.
1200w max this, 1800w max that... not good enough. I need the MODEL numbers you are thinking about specifically...
