Hello I'm looking to purchase my sub/amp combo and I wanted to know if the XA1000 would power the SW7000 woofer? Here's the specs of both.
XA1000
# CLASS D SUBWOOFER AMP.
# 320WATTS x 1CH @ 4OHM / 14.4V
# 480WATTS x 1CH @ 4OHM / 14.4V
# MAX. 640W
# BRIGHT LED INDICATORS
# HIGH EFFICIENCY RATE WITH LOW CURRENT DRAW
# S/N RATIO : > 90dB
# FREQUENCY REQPONSE : 20-20,000Hz
SW7000
# Size: 10 inch
# Rec. Sealed Box Dims: .3 - 1 cu.ft.
# Rec. Ported Box Dims: 1.5 - 1.5 cu.ft
# Free Air Usage: not recommended
# Sensitivity: n/a
# Frequency Response: n/a
# Recommended RMS Power: 450W
# Peak Power Handling: 1300W
# Impedance: Dual 4 ohm
I'm building a custom sealed box with .5 cubic feet of air space. Please let me know if this would be a good combo, I'm still new to car audio and want the best SQ possible within a $1500.00 budget.
Thanks

Yes the amp is a alright match to the sub. Give the sub more box volume if you can, 1.25 ft^3 is ideal. That package should come in way under $1000.00 in the US market. Even in Canada it is under $1000.00
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
