Has anyone done a 2007 Chevy 1500 yet. Metra doesn't list a kit yet.

It should be the same as the 03-06 trucks

The 2007 GM pick up trucks haven't changed the dash from the 2006 models. The GM full size SUVs have though. They are all new for 2007.

It can't be too much different.  You could mod an '06 one, or custom make one.

I have already worked on a 2007 GMC Sierra pick up truck. It is the same as a 2006 model. GM may decide to do a mid year change and revamp it. They have done this many times before on other models. It does get confusing when there are two totally different versions of the same year vehicle though. The 2007 Avalanches have also been revised like the full size SUV's.

GM does this all the time, gents ... the Pick Up's & SUV's never both get remodeled at the same time ... one always gets done before the other. The good news is, if you like the way the new SUV's look, hold out for a year or two & that's what the new trucks will be like. 2007 Chevy 1500 Headunit -- posted image.

On the other hand ... if you DON'T dig the new SUV's ... get a new truck now ... before GM changes 'em.
