ok, i have a kenwood excelon kac-x810d amplifier, 1600watts. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what speakers would sound the best for this amp. price is not really an issue, if anyone has any info i would really apppreciate it.

you have 800 RMS @2ohms. if you want 1 woofer and price is not a problem  a diamond D9 15 would be boss in my book  
bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english

800 @ 2 would push an Eclipse SW9122 beautifully!

You have a decent amount of power (at least it's a class D) to supply to any good sub. You can find a lot of subwoofers that will get you some awesome sound...but don't forget about your enclosure. Without a good one, they can all sound like, like, like....you know! POOP.

I don't know if I would push the Kenwood to 1 ohm. Unless you got 2 - 2 ohm DVCs that were rated around 400-500 each. I'd keep that amp at 2 ohm or greater IMHO.

2 diamond D3 12 would be nice. if you cant tell im a big diamond fan.

i dont think ive ever heard a diamond speaker, but i have heard good things about them...thanks guys youve helped a lot
