1995 mercedes e320 speaker upgrades

Today I pulled out the speakers and went to the local car install place and talked with the owner. He suggested plating off the front speakers on the dash and putting tweeters there. He then said in the door to put the 6.5 inch round component speaker. In the rear I believe it was 5 1/4" but that would just be a normal full range speaker. What I want to know is would this sound alright? The speakers in the door seem to be pointed right into the seat, and I wonder if it will matter. I also plan on transplanting my two 10 inch woofers from the 190. If this set up would be ok any suggestions for the components? Should I amp them or not? Same for the rear as far as suggestions and amping. My other question, would i be better putting off the component speaker into the dash and putting the tweeter on the two triangles by the side view mirrors. Also would it make sense to just leave the stock woofers in the door? Where would they be attached to if i were to go this route? Or could i use component speakers there too and just run two sets of speakers off of the crossovers?Thanks

The speakers are close to the front of the seat, but still aim almost into the seat. Would I be better just leaving the stock speaker there and putting the component into the front dash? It looks about 5 1/4" and then mounting the tweeter to the pillar or somewhere near there? I would be putting regular full range speakers in the rear deck, and subs in the trunk.

I'm probably thinking of an earlier model.  If you have room on the dash then go for it.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

you may want to think about just putting a clean amp on the factory speakers.  i have found from experience that mercedes aren't the most user friendly vehicles when it comes to speaker replacement.  if you do swap them, use some good speakers and amp them or they will more than likely sound like crap.  put the amp on high pass and adjust accordingly, let the subs do the bass.  trying to get bass from the door speakers in a benz sounds awful most of the time...well, good luck.

Ok guys, This is going into my 1995 mercedes e320. I am running two amps, two subs, and components. I ran all the wiring for the subs. The power to the amp, the ground to the amp, and the remote turn off from amp to head unit. Also ran are the rca cables from the amp to the headunit. After turning on the car and turning on the stereo the amp powers on but the subs don't work. I checked the settings on the headunit and everything looks ok so that it at least should be producing some sound. I set that aside and ran the wiring for the components. I ran the power to the amp, the ground for the amp and the rca cables for the amp. I then ran speaker wire from the amps second channel to the crossover. From the crossover i ran a wire to the tweeter. I dont have the midbass hooked up yet. I ran into the same problem of absolutely no sound. Anyone have any ideas of what to check or start my trouble shooting? I really only have tomorrow to play with it and then i head back up to school and I would really like to have this stuff working by then.

*edit*: pioneer deh-7800mpOK guys new update, every thing now works with the exception of the components. They play music but also make a whoosing noise sometimes, even when there is no music on. The midbasses keep whoosing and the tweeters make a high pitched whine whenever this happens. Any thoughts on that problem? It occurs when music is on too sometimes. It seems vary random and has no pattern i could detect. also wanted to add that even with the volume to 0 this would still continue. Could it be because the rca cables run through the same hole in the trunk with the power cables? it was easy to feed it through that on the right hand side, should i run the rcas on the left and try it there? it wont be that hard to do, but any other explainations or opinions would be appreciated.
