I have a 97 s10 blazer and I am trying to find a good spot for the ground.  Sub is a Treo SSX 18, AMP is AB VFL400.1.  have 0 ga ran everywhere, including big three.  I am getting interference from the electrical system, actually can hear my engine running through sub, can hear brake pedal being touched, and can hear turn signals in radio.  I have streetwires ZN660's ran, so my guess is that i have a bad ground.  Can anyone suggest a good ground???

make one instead of using an existing bolt location. i would suggest that with any system.

Jettagli03 may have hit it there. There are many existing bolts on a vehicle (like seat bolts, etc) that are notorious for being bad grounding points. Also, make sure the grounding point is clean and clear of paint...a very nice bare metal connection.

I feel strange. I have deja vu and amnesia at the same time.

well, I don't think that the ground is the problem, at least not for the amp itself. Metered it and it was .4. If I turn down radio all the way, I get horrible thump from sub, same when I turn it on, so I think that the HU ground is bad. is that possible??

It is possible but more likely it is the amplifier that is the culprit in this case.

You have a burnt trace inside your radio  on the shield of your RCAs    a temporary fix for this is to take a length of wire  ground one end and then strip a few inches of the other end and wrap this around the shield of the rca   either at the amp or at the radio
