I've got a 12" memphis m3, 4 ohm dvc. Its got a chip outta of the cone, but still works. It's starting to sound like doodie in the car so. More loud, less distant bass. So I`m deciding if I'd be able to hook it up to a home audio reciever.

I can wire down to 8ohms to accept 100w per channel. Is this even possible, to try wiring each channel to a voice coil, giving it 200w/rms?

Yes. One channel to each voice coil. No problem. Are you providing a crossover, or are you planning on running it full-range. Running it full-range would be the definition of "sounding like doodie".

You will have to make sure your home receiver can handle 4 ohm loads, in order for this to be an acceptable solution, though. If not, wire the voice coils in series, and run it from one channel of the amp at 8 ohms. Again, no LOW crossover point (like 50Hz and down), with a steep slope, more doodie.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
