i have a kicker kx120.2  amp that suddenly one day stoppped working, it just will not  come out of protection mode. it was powering 2 alpine type-e 10" subs in a sealed box in a merc sable station wagon. the amp just suddenly would go uit of protection mode, no warning, just like a light switch. i took the amp apart to see if by any chance that something had gotten spilled into the amp but couldn't see anything wrong. and to be the kicker (pun intended) the ampp was like a month off warrenty.

anyone have any ideas?

Bad ground that killed the power supply or a dead short on the rca cable or speaker lines.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
