Running HU and Amp x-over?

Isn't that redundant? I have a Pioneer DEH-780 HU with internal x-overs and slope adjustments. Do I need to use the x-over at the Alpine PDX 4.150 amp as well?

Yes, redundant. No, amp crossover not needed, use the far more flexible on built into the head unit..
