I used to rep the zapco line....in my opinion...good stuff for the cost. You'll find the speakers abit deep though, so take caution when mounting them. Just shy of 3 inches...

Having an '01 Civic, I can tell you that it is going to be VERY tight.
I installed the Adire Extremis 6.8 in my doors, and due to the depth, I had to add a 1" spacer, just to keep it from hitting the brace tube in the door - it runs right down the middle of the speaker hole. Now, the Extremis is 3.88 inches deep, minus the one inch spacer, means the speaker is 2.88 inches deep in the door. The Zapco speakers you are looking at are 2.87 inches deep.
The problem I am seeing is this: the magnet in the Extremis is only 2.76 inches in diameter, and the window still hits it. The magnet in the Zapco is 3.93 inches in diameter. You WILL hit the magnet, and your window will not open fully without a spacer, probably about a 3/4 inch spacer, AND you will be cutting the doors and modifying the door panels to install it, I promise you this.
Honda did NOT make those doors terribly after-market friendly.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
