Just purchased a 99 Silverado
and the stock radio wasn't working.
The clock on it worked but wouldn't power up.
I installed a new Pioneer purchasing the
pioneer harness to Gm harness and it didn't power up.
I used a multimeter at the vehicle harness and get
constant 12v at the orange but Nothing at the switched
Yellow wire.
Radio fuse under hood is fine.
ANy ideas?
Thanks

ht orange is dimmer. Yellow should be 12v constant. Red is the 12v switched. make sure that you don't have a fuse inside the truck and make sure that it is wired up correctly

I think he's talking about the car side of the ignition wire which is yellow.  Check the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash.  I beleive the fuse for ignition power to the radio is in there.
Cause I'm So white and nerdy...

Thanks. Appears to be missing the fuse there
on the dash side fuse panel.
