I have a 95' Chevy Monte Carlo. It is an SQ car. I am thinking about building a 10" woofer enclosure in the dash, either in the glove box location or just under it in the passenger side floorboard against the firewall. Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions. I am sponsored by SONY. it would be their equipment. Thanks.Front Woofer Enclosure -- posted image.

What organizations do you plan to run in?
Too bad you couldnt get something a little better for SQ then sony, I havent heard any of thier products that would hold up in SQ...best of luck to you though
As far as a subwoofer in the front compartment, WHY?    are you going for midbass, or just to completly Fock up your front sound stage.
all in all keep the subs in the trunk where they will not interfere with your front sound stage...it they interfere with any sound stage, front, rear or Center..I would personally dock you points as thats a huge part of your score....Imaging

I run SQ Pro 601+. I was 4th at USACI World Finals this year in KC. May have seen you there. I was in the black MC.  I am trying to get mid-bass. To get my sub freq. to the front I simply reversed my sub polarity, to throw it foreward. I appreciate the advice though.

Alright, sorry for the smart @ss comments then,    we get alot of people who say they are sponsered Blah blah blah....
You probably did see me at one point of another, if you stayed at the hotel with everyone else, I was the one in the lobby handing out beer to about everyone between 2-6am saturday   haha
I know know you do have more then average knoledge in this sort of thing, I would really go with an 8" driver so it may be less noticable, but still produce a good amount of midbass
I saw a vehicle earlier this year that I judged that had a single 8" in the middle console firing towards the firwall, you could see the woofer though a small slot in the console but if was in a sealed chamber firing at the firewall.
I am sure some of the guys on here that are really good with SQ development will chime in eventually.
I for one will say congrats on the finish at WF! Good luck and I will probably see you a few times this year, between judging and running my own car throughout the year, where you from and I will let you know if I wil be in the area!

I'm from Tupelo, MS. I'm a tech. a Cowboy Maloneys. I run up as far as Memphis. I do plan on going to the Arkansas thing this year. I'm also gonna run Sony again although Pioneer offered full ride.

Thanks for the congrats. I am not blowing my horn or anything, but I am blown back that a guy in my class didn't even place running full Focal against my Sony stuff. After all Sony doesn't make ANYTHING AT ALL for timing. NOTHING!

Congrats on your win, and you guy made it a really good show this year!..... By the way; who broke out the revolving door at the Raddison? It happened Sat night...

I dont know, I do know it was not me!   We were down there for hours and I dont think it happened between 2-6, but then again we didnt know much of what was going on either.
Are you talking about going to the members meeting next month?   If so I know I will be there, if not for a jump on points, and to reviel what the car can do now, but more or less to support USACi.
Besides that all I have planned out is all the shows in KC, MO and KC KS Omaha I have a few planned, Okalahomo Spring Bash, in lawton OK..I will make 1 or 2 heatwaves..there are alot of shows on the list so far, and it keeps growing!
