hi im running a 10 w7 with a jl audio amp. it sounds good but i dont like that sometimes the trunk rattles and it doesnt sount real nice, well the thing is that i been reading about this thing called dynamat that u stick it  and eliminates all of this problems my question is do you know of any other method that i can apply plez help out here thanks

are you looking for another METHOD of application, cheaper product, or something better?

You can reduce the trunk rattling by filling in the gap between the skeleton of the trunk and the trunk surface with sponge or silocone or something. The rattling is caused by the vibration of the trunk surface which hits the trunk skeleton. Also ensure all screws in the trunk area are properly fastend cuase the vibration caused by the bass can loosen a few screws.

As for sound deadner everybody has their own brand of choice, I personally don't use dynamat. I have been using hushmat, its very pliable and adhesion has been good. For a trunk lid I would venture to say (without knowing what car you have) a 10 sheet kit should suffice. Cost wise we retail a 10 piece kit for 89.99 us.
