I installed a pioneer 5700 dvd deck into my 92 mustang lx.  i bypassed the e-brake sensor wire and yet when i start my car up, the screen will display that it is prohibited to watch while driving.  so i have to turn the unit off, then go back to the dvd section, and it will then say....you should be aware its not advised to watch while driving, and it has an ok button, i hit that and it will play.  why do i have to turn the unit off first and then i get this screen?
if its too loud, you're too old!

Because you wired the ebrake wire up improperly. The only info you will get on this site is how to hook the deck up properly to the ebrake. I suggest you try www.avic411.com for your other needs.
