ok i did an install on a 02 maxima bose system. after i pulled the deck and hooked up aftermarket. i lost the thing on the dash cluster that shows: trip A/B, gas milage and so on. does the stock deck control this and i lost it or can i just hop a wire to turn it on???

there is a 4 wire plug that should be hanging after you install the new HU. On this plug there is a brown wire, it may even have a white stripe, i don't remember. Anyway, cut it or splice it to ground and you should have your display back.
