Hi all! Have a question for ya. I have a boat that has 8 sets of JL Audio separates. I already own one Alpine PDX-4.150. I was wondering if it would be possible to wire all 8 speakers to this one 4 channel amplifier? This way I would not have to purchases another one. If so, any help on how I would wire this would be great? Thanks, skeeler

wire two sets of seperates to each channel of the amp, the amp will then be running at a  2 ohm load.

You can run 8 sets off one channel if you want...if the final ohm load doesn't exceed the amps minimum load capacity

This is what I was thinking. I just wanted to confirm the amp would handle a 2 ohm load on each channel. So I can parallel two sets to each channel giving it a 2 ohm load on each channel, correct?
Thanks for the help guys!

yes, that amp will handle a 2 ohm load on each channel.    one question though...how big of a boat is it that it needs so many speakers?

Thanks for the info. I again, just wanted to confirm what I assumed. It's a 2007 Mastercraft X-2 it has 4 sets of seperates in the cabin area, and 4 sets on the wakeboard tower.
