alright i have searched everywhere and cannot find a harness for my 1990 toyota celica gt hatchback. i have looked everywhere and have bought a few and none of them fit. i dont really want to cut and splice all of the wires. anyone know of a place that has absolutely all wireign harnesses. and if you where to be so kind as to look for one the harness has only one plug, all the ones i have found have two, one for the power and one for the speakers. thanks alot guys

I would try Metra's smartharnesses unless you already bought one and found that it wasn't correct. And is the just regular Celica have the same harness as the GT? If worse comes to worse you might have to splice all the wires. Circuit City sells smart harnesses but I would call ahead and have them look and see if they have the harness.

A lot of toyota's run a seperate factory amplifier.  If you do not have a standard toyota wireing harness behind the radio then there is an amp in the vehicle.  Luckily though toyota was kind enough to usually put the amp very close to the head unit where you can grab the standard toyota plugs without having to splice or extend any wires.  If you trace back the wireing harness behind your radio you will find standard toyota plugs not far away

i have the 10 speaker system, i have bought a couple harnesses from walmart and none of them work. im not sure if the car has an amp or not i will have to check that out tonight but the setup is alot different then any of my other cars. the factory radio will not work unless two other harnesses are together, it is some sort of security deal. do these setups have amps?
