My friend has an H2 Hummer and got an aftermarket navigation system installed in her car. Now the onstar doesnt work and they told her to buy a harness to be installed now she wants me to install it but i was wondering if its difficult to install or is it simple.. thanks in advance..

The shop she got the nav at obviously doesn't know what they're doing if they didn't recommend or install the correct harness from the start.  We use PAC's OS2 Bose on the H2's.  If you're not very experienced overall with taking dashes apart you won't want to take apart an H2 dash, take it to a reputable shop and have them install it, you will also need a CM-1 module by PAC to retain factory chimes.  A noise filter will also need to be installed on the constant wire before the OS2 Bose to prevent a ton of engine noise when the onstar is in use.  I just wouldn't recommend going back to the first shop since they don't seem to know what they're doing....BTW,,,she can also retain her factory steering wheel controls if they know what they're doing,,,
