I know it has a few errors, but they lean towards excess rather than lack of...so it is based on being "safe than sorry".

You will need Microsoft Excel and a multi-meter.

The "errors" are very hard to overcome because the way the calculations on the "power wire size" operate. They give rediculous wire sizes for anything beyond 1000 watts RMS, that's why theres a limit. I'm not sure how to make a "curve" in excel.

The "alternator" sheet starts of by calculating 40% of the current alternator as this is what generally is needed to run just the car (this figure is based on what auto manufacturers denote is needed to actually run the car, air conditioning, fog lights, etc.). When you put in a new value for amperage this changes the original 40% value. So I'm trying to figure a way to correct this. Any ideas?

If Excel had a way of capturing a specific value and keeping it like the MS feature on a calculator. However, the sheet must also be resettable to calculate a different vehicle.

This is my dilemma...or do you think I should leave well enough alone.

OK, OK! I downloaded it, but I have not been able to really apply it, or even look very deeply into it... When I do finally try it out, I'll let ya know!

Otherwise, it seems like a good idea.

Well, I used it, and it seems to be a decent job of spreadsheeting. I am not an Excel guy, I am a hardware guy, so I can't help with further programming, but, otherwise... Job well done.
