just wondering do al lthe sat radios have to be fm transmitted? i have a pioneer deh-p7300 and i was wondering if i could use this adapter to hook up to the radio:

That unit is XM ready which means you just have to buy the tuner for it since it is a 2001 model it may be a little harder to find however they are out there this is going to be your best bet as far as sound quality goes but if you want a unit that you can take from your car into your house or another vehicle then the aux in is a good choice

If your head unit haves a aux input use that instead, but if it does not use a wired fm modulator.

simple as that, but use good cables cause you will have alt. noise

Stay away from FM modulators if at all possible. It'll make XM sound more like FM instead of CD quality.
