HI Guys, read the stickys, specially the heated debate on one VC or two Vc's.
I have two older pieces of mismatched pieces I want to put together as a system on the cheap
Hello, I have an Infinity Perfect 12.1 that recommends 350 Watts RMS Dual 4OHM VC
I'm using an old Fosgate 750s which puts out
187.5 Watts *2 Channels 4OHM
375 Watts * 2 Channels 2OHM
and 750 Watts * 1 Channel bridged 4OHM
I'm not quite sure on how to wire the sub up reliably though.
Should I wire each VC to a separate channel which will give a combined wattage of 375
Or should I wire the Sub in Series for an 8 OHM Load? Since the amp gives 750 watts into a 4OHM bridged, this should give me a 375 output on an 8 OHM load right?
Which is the most efficient/recommended way of doing this?

I find it odd that the amplifier came with a rating broken down to a point 5 (187.5 watts).  That's an unusual rating.  However,

is the best way to go, IMO.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Thanks Stevdart, I thought that was weird, perhaps Rockford attention to quality?
