This is for a 00 Maxima

I'm looking for a cd player with no amp that is xm radio ready, ipod ready, and mp3, etc. Any help is cool?

Also I'm getting these speakers, Polk MMC6500 for the front and the MMC650 for the rear.

I was thinking of using Rockford Fosgate Punch P5002 125W x 2 Car Amplifier 2-channel Amp for the front and Rockford Fosgate Punch P3002 75W x 2 Car Amplifier 2-channel Amp for the rear speakers.

I haven't decided on a sub yet.

Mostly want to know about the cd player but if yall have anything to say about the speaker amp combo that's cool too.

Thanks

well the head unit above has an amp....why are you looking for something without an internal amp?
If you think it will be cheaper think again, most units that have no internal amp are a POS or are a very very high end unit.
What are you trying to accomplish with a deck without a amp internal?

You could get a HU that has an option to turn off the internal amps. Alpines usually have this feature.

To add on to that; you could find an Alpine with decent features- including to turn off the internal amp- for $150 to $200.

The internal amp on the P880 can be turned off. The tuning options on this head unit are hard to beat.

Well in the past I've always used eclipse head units without amps in them. They do cost but they do more then cd players I've seen with amps in them. I'm sure there are cd players with amps that do a lot too I'm just going on what I've found to be true. What happend to eclipse they seem to not be as good as they use to? I guess I could run one with an amp and bypass it.

I use the 8445. Internal amp, just not used... In facet, I removed the speaker leads completely from the plug, problem solved - no more internal amp :)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Yeah you could just not use the speakers, the amp would'nt use power then, right?
