I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 w/ JBL base cd player.  I am upgrading to an Eclipse new 5100 unit and adding sirius to the unit as well as the module to keep steering wheel controls.  I need info on how to take the dash apart, please help

Some reading on adding a Nav to this car. Pretty easy.

Also if it has a JBL  digital amplifier system then integrating with it is going to be more difficult. There is no amp turn on wire, the amp is controlled by a computer signal.  I someone makes a interface for it now.  The 2006 4runner I did didn't have this system, Thank God. It uses the word "digital", and I believe its the 10 speaker system.  If its the JBL Digital system maybe someone else knows a way to interface with it.

Be careful taking the advice from a guy that hasn't the proper tools to do the job. ie. no pry tool, a screw drivers is just plain wrong, and the lack of a ratchet and sockets, hmm.....2006 toyota 4runner sr5 dash dissasembly -- posted image. How do you turn the open/box wrench without scratching up the plastic on the dash?

He did however show you how to do the job.2006 toyota 4runner sr5 dash dissasembly -- posted image.
