I have 3 amplifiers. 2 of them are class a/b and one is a class d amp.  The ab amps I am useing for front and rear mids and hi's; they require a 40 and 80 amp external fuse.  The class d amp requires a 170 to 200amp fuse and the tech support person I spoke with said use 200amp external fuse to be on the safe side.  I have a Stinger 5farad cap that I plan to use for stiffing the power.  My wiring plan consist of the following: 0gauge positive wire from battery to 350amp anl fuse block, then 0guage from there to the cap to a Stinger 4 position fused distribution block, now from the distribution block there are 4-4gauge wiring outputs and the class ab amps occupy 2 of the 4gauge slots.  Well that actually made me think of 2 questions now.

The first:  The distribution block uses midi style fuses and the largest I have seen available is 150amp; therefore if I use the 2 remaining connections on the distribution with 100amp fuses and connect both 4gauge wires from there to the class d amp(will accept up to 2gauge size wire on amp power and ground), will this accomplish my 200amp external fuse requirement?

The second: I am installing this system in a 92 Honda Civic and this is alot of current draw, will the cap in this wiring setup be enough to meet the power draw demands or am I going to run into a situation where I need a second battery or a larger cap?

Thanks!

What you'll need to do first, before installing any amps, is the Big3 Upgrade and you may need a high-output alternator.

I have searched this forum for the upgrade you suggest, but I am not seeing it anywhere.

What is the Big3 Upgrade you speak of?

Thanks!

^ Yes, please do this and disregard anyone who tells you power capacitors work.

As for your wiring plans, I think they sound fine as long as all wires are fused at the battery with the fuse sizes you recommended.
