Is your trunk carpeted? I have a 2002 cavalier which has carpet through the trunk. Some cars only have the floor carpet and the sides just metal. Anyways, I am powering 2 12" earthquake DBX's which handle 800peak a piece. My car rattles occassionally but my bass sounds good. I dont use dynamat or anything like that though. Now with your situation, it depends on what wattage you are pumping out of those subs. If your trunk rattles, try stuffing the trunk lid and other places that you can with foam. I have foam stuffed in my trunk lid, read deck, and the back of the trunk. You can also try using dynamat.
