I once had a 2 ch amp hooked in tri mode to 2 KickerComp (not vr) 10's (4Ohm) on stereo and a RF P1 12(4Ohm) bridged. Seems it was louder than 2Ohm stereo. How can one estimate the approx. amount of power reaching the subs in this setup?

How did you have a 2 channel amp set to tri mode?

It's easy. All you do is wire 2 4Ohm speakers stereo, and 1 4Ohm speakers bridged. Lanzar(I know) had it in the manual.

Now, Lanzar(I know), in full range, had he diagram for the 2 H/P speakers in stereo to have capacitors on them and for the sub (bridged one) to have an inductor on it.

I had a L/P signal going to the amp to begin with, so I didn't put inductors on each woofer like someone told me to(just trying to sell me 3 I guess).

All 3 woofers looked like they were all moving the same. Is it reasonable to assume the 400wrms from the amp was split by 3 or would the bridged channel be getting more power?

The proper crossover that you apply between the sub and the mids effectively separates the freqs to those drivers.  Power, therefore, is estimated based on the wiring configuration that each driver uses.  The sub is bridged across both channels, so look at the amp's output rating for the sub's 4 ohm impedance in bridged mode.  The mids are wired in two channel mode.

Your tri-mode wiring scheme was incorrect.  But, as all three of  these were subs, the wiring was just a parallel scheme.  The bridged sub received twice the power as each of the other subs (as they were all 4 ohm).  See http://www.bcae1.com/trimodpd.htm

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

That link settled it for me. Thanks, stevdart.
