hey guys,

i wanted to know if the mtx thunder elite 1501d amp could push two eclipse sw9102's?

Also what would be a better combo the 2 eclipse titainiums or the 2 mtx 9500 10"?
Its going into a 2006 scion tc but i can get mtx and eclipse at a sick discount.

thanx

There's no problem for the 1501D to power the Eclipse subs. There's going to be more than enough power for those subs. The 9500's would be more for SPL but the Eclipse would sound better for SQ IMO. Also, your not going to be able to get either of these at a " sick discount" seeing that they are both really reputable companies that doesn't need to sell their product for cheap. The Elite amp you will definitely not get at a discount price seeing that there's only a few US dealers that can even carry the Elite brand.

The Elite stuff from MTX is exactly the same as the TA stuff but with chrome accents instead of brushed aluminum and the heat sinks are smooth gloss black instead of textured. Also, I know in Canada that none of the box stores can sell the MTX TA line ( independants only ) and no one is authorized to sell the Elite lineup, so unless it's different down there in the USA, I don't think you can get the Elite stuff from Circuit City.

no we at circuit city do not sell the elite amps however we do sell the ta series

but i was referring to purchasing the elite series through a vendor accomdation that we can order directly through mtx (as a pose to buying it in the store).
