kicker vs rockford fosgate

I have (2) 12" Kicker L5 solo barics with 750 watts goin to each one in the factory ported box. Now my friend just got (1) Rockford Fosgate P3 in a ported box. I haven't heard his system yet. He says he's runnin 1500 watts to that one sub. They are only 500 watts rms. Does anyone think his is anyway possibly louder? By the way, they are in the exact same cars.

You have him in cone area, and better equipment. I personally wouldnt put that much to a p3. I would think your is louder, although only real way to tell is to have them both metered on the TL.

I guarantee you he is stating the max or peak number on his amp...prolly 500 watts rms really You will destroy him...you will be even louder if you build a custom box for those subs
