capacitor

Hi this is probably a very simple question for somebody who has done this before to answer. Also I am just looking for help with installing this, so you guys don't have to tell me your opinions on capacitors. I currently have a kicker zx700.5 amp installed with a regular 4 gauge amplifier kit. I would like to add a capacitor. My question is, what equipment must I purchase along with the capacitor to be able to smoothly integrate it into my install. Lets for argument sake say that the cap I am purchasing only comes with mounting equipment and a charging resistor. I am assuming I have to purchase 4 gauge ring terminals along with at least 3 feet of power wire and 3 feet of ground wire to go from the cap to the amp. Ok so is their anything else I have to buy besides the ring terminals and wire? Also do the wires even connect to the cap using ring terminals? I may be wrong altogether. Is their room on top of say a 2 farad cap to terminate 3 wires, 1 coming from the batt and 2 going to more than one amp say I would want to upgrade in the future. Thank you so much in advance

Ok so you just connect the main fused power wire directly from the main power wire to the cap and then you run a 3ft power wire from the cap to the amp. Do you terminate the connection to the cap with crimp connectors? Thank you

yep, crimp ring terminals or set screw type.
