ok just bought a m.a.audio HK-1000d from a pawn shop as is. i knew something was gonna be wrong with it but it was only 40 buck took the chance...im sure all the wiring is correct i double checked all wires...plus i have another amp and it works fine with the setup of the wiring...the power light is coming on but when i turn the system on all i get is a loud hum and the speaker cone gets pushed all the way out. i took the covers off and checked the circuit board and nothing is fried...was thinking maybe trying to replace the rca inputs? any help? ty in advance

It's wasted. No fixing it with RCA inputs. If you can get your 40 dollars back, do it, otherwise you have a 40 dollar paperweight. (that you paid too much for, even if it was working PERFECTLY)
You MIGHT be able to get it repaired, but it IS MA, so it probably wont be worth THAT trip either.

It's high-end swap-o-rama stuff. My personal opinion is you couldn't give it to me. Marginally better than Audiobahn.

At my pawn shop all of the amps are guaranteed to work...you should have asked them about that...but that sucks for you. Seems like its putting out straight DC signal lol
