a friend of mine has two 8 ohm 12's... how would i go about wiring them to a two channel amp to produce a 8 ohm load?? or what kind of amp would he need??

SVC?  One to each channel of a 2-channel amp puts and 8-ohm load on each channel.  If you bridge the amp, you can't use both subs to create an 8-ohm net load.  What subs are they?  What amp?

not sure on the subs or the amp... all i know is that they are 8 ohm 12's SVC...

just get a 2 channel amp thats rms output ratings match those of your subs

run the posotive from one channel to one sub and the negative from the other channel to the other

then bridge the box (connect the terminals left empty) this will create a 4 ohm load
