Mazda RX8 Radio Not Working

what's going on guys....so i was working on an rx8 the other night...and as i got done with it....turned on the car...and now the the radio doesn't work as well as the display on top of it......the only way it works is with a cd using the steering wheel controls.....can someone give me a hand on this??

Did you pull out the radio?  I only ask this because we ran into almost the same situation.  After pulling the radio and reinstalling it, the display went blank.  It came back on after making sure that the radio was in the correct position in the dash press firmly on the bottom of the radio assembly. Also,try pulling the radio out and making sure that all are the harnesses are fully seated.
There is no such thing as free installation!

yeah i did pull it out...and when i put it back in place it didn;t work anymore,,,,,,hm...well i double checked for all connections and still nothing .....Mazda RX8 Radio Not Working -- posted image.

Yikes, I am one of the few people that actually know this vehicle. Ensure that you plugged in all of the molex's on the front of the radio. The radio dash panel that holds the controls is a push together molex mated to the factory radio. Remove that panel again and ensure that all the pins are intact and straight. This panel must go together properly for the radio to work again.
