hey guys im so f%@#ng mad....i had my 4 ch zapco amp running a pair of cdt speakers and all was fine until yesterday when i decided to add more bass and hooked up an mtx 12 to the other  side of the amp.  i was driving and then i heard the weird noise and it shut down, i moved all the gain to the rear so the amp wouldnt see anything and  when i got back to the house i turned it back on and nothing.  so i checked the remote wires and it read 12 volts, i checked the front speakers it floated around 3.8 ohms, the woofer read 4.2ish ohms, the reading never sit still on my meter (do they all do this?) they move around maybe .5 ohms and the power wire dont have a reading.?? i got the readings off the amp on the terminals so wat gives? tonight is drive in movie night and it would sure suck not to have decent sound  when my wife gets back im going to take the wires off the amp and check the readings again

If you have no reading at your power wire why don't you check the fuse in your engine compartment?

i did that, it was fine.  i got it. so i checked the power wires at the dist block and they read 12 volts, i again checked the power wire at the amp end and it didnt have a reading, then the terminal poped off lol so im guessing some how the conector got undone....redid both connectors and all is fine now whew!
