I saw a brand on audiodiscounters.com  , called Megaloud. The articles make it sound pretty damn good. does anyone know anything about them because it seems like a good deal.

Sounds like a load of CRAP to me... ANYBODY making claims like that is either a used car salesman, or a snakeoil salesman (and who wants to oil a snake?) If it REALLY was as good as is claimed, don't you think we would have all at least HEARD of them? Possibly even seen them at the CES? I've neither heard of them OR seen them. I can't even find a listing of them presenting in Vegas.
Does it sound too good to be true? It probably is. Not to mention the grammar on the website sounds like it was written by 11 year old kids, texting each other on their cell phones.
My advice? Run. Run far away. Quickly...
Only a 90 day warranty on ANYTHING. No toll-free number for contact. One internet dealer, three brick-n-mortars... ?? Yeah... I'd go there... They don't even know that the word is COPYRIGHT, not COPYWRITE. Losers. If you look REALLY CLOSELY at the picture on the left top of this page, you'll see that "Mega Loud" is pasted into the picture, it's not actually ON THAT AMPLIFIER. The amp looks like it has some completely OTHER markings on it that appear to have no correlation with any of their listed model numbers, directly below it. On THIS page the sticker is again, NOT on the woofer, it's pasted in digitally. Those woofers look like Dayton products, readily available at Parts Express, for WAY less...
Deep bass with an Fs of 30Hz, on a 12, and a Qts OF .273!?! AIN'T gonna happen, not in any reasonably sized enclosure, anyway...
Warning: Avoid this product! To quote Princess Leia, "I have a bad feeling about this..."
Have I torn them up enough, yet? Do you get the idea that they might not be the best thing for your dollar?
(Does anyone ELSE smell spam?)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
