I want to put a double din dvd in my 2000 mustang.  The problem is that in 94-2000's mustang the dash looks like thisdouble din in 2000 mustang -- posted image.

I was wondering if anyone has fabricated the dash to fit the double din.......OR the 2001 mustang has a factory double din,  will that bezel fit in the 2000 models?  Thank yopu

BUY a Dash piece for an 01 t0 04 mustang and should snap right in to place, the buy a dash kit from Metra to mount you double din piece no dash work require. Tal to your locol dealer about it to see if the are compatiblle , My guess is that it should work perfect. Make sure you get the Dash piece with out the switches in it. It will have blanks whit plus unless you want to get the one  the buy switches .double din in 2000 mustang -- posted image.

Thanks for the help, do you have to buy the entire dash piece (including the piece that goes around the shifter) or just the upper piece?
