opinions on vifa pl and cdt es series

My CDT ES 620 mid refused to work just recently. I have been doing some research and narrowed it down to Vifa PL or CDT ES-6000 or possibly CDT-ES06. I don't have a way to hear these speakers so I'm going off of reputation and price and experince. My old CDT's were amazing, just very abused. Now DEAD.The PL's are half the price of the CDT ES-06's but would the PL's be able to perform with or out perfrom the CDT's. I know a lot of guy's have used the PL's in their rides, but what's up with the CDT lines.?Sorry been out the loop for a while because my system was working fine, not to mention way to many other things to do around the house. So any guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated, don't worry I will still be researching this but any advice helps.Thanks, Dono

I mean I've been using CDT mids for years in some form or another.. can't say I used anything up as high as the es series either. I'm a big fan of CDT and will continue to look at them first for anything I need. You say it yourself,

Yup, I bet. Of course, to be fair, Vifa is pretty popular around here.. at least as far as theoretical driver questions go. Not sure if we've ever talked anyone into using them primarily as mids... but I know vifa gets relabed into high end componet sets all the time. I betcha you'd be quite happy with either one.
