I have seen a FM modulator that connects a flash drive to play through a stereo using an FM signal and new head units that have direct USB conntections . Is there a device that allows you to directly connect via RCA inputs?

I have no seen such a device, and doubt there will be. This would be mainly due to the fact that a USB Drive requires some sort of data processing to locate audio files, etc. and a RCA cable cannot do so.
