which TC Sounds subs would be the bestmatch for the 450 watts rms @2ohm  output of the 5 channel eclipse amp?  i want either one 15" or two 10", or 2 12"s.

Two of the TC1000 10's, SVC versions would serve you well...

why the SVC versions? and what would be the best way to wire them?

1: Because the amp is only 2 ohm stable.
2: Parallel. 2 - 4 ohm voice coils, in parallel = 2 ohms.
With DVC versions, you can get 1, 4 or 16 ohms, none of which will give you maximum power, or is completely compatible.

hey thanks alot for the help. now i just need some speakers to put on the other 4 channels. but im confused as hell on what to get that will have the best clarity and loudness.  any help with that would be awesome. by the way this is all going into a 2 door hatchback ford focus. Semper Fi

What is the speaker sizes for that car, or what year is it so we can see what fits to see what you have to work with.

the doors and  rear side panels fit, 6X8's , 5X7's or , 5.25"s.  i was kind of wanting a component system for the front.

Well, as far as components go, I would go with Eclipse. They were recommended to me not long ago and I absolutely love them!! As far as a 6X8, I run Infinity's in the wife's truck and they do a really good job and sound great. Have heard Eclipses to and they sound awesome as well. Just my opinions.
